The contractual terms governing the purchase and use of a Mus Passes credential. Last revised: 14 March 2025.
These terms constitute a binding contract between the traveller (the "Pass-Holder") and Mus Passes, a cultural-tourism office registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt. By completing a purchase, the Pass-Holder is deemed to have read and accepted these terms in their most recent version. The site's French and Arabic translations are provided for convenience; the English version prevails in the event of an interpretive dispute.
A pass is a digital credential entitling the Pass-Holder to admission at the partner institutions listed in the credential for the duration specified. The credential is issued in the name of a single adult traveller and is not transferable after first activation, save in the defined Gift case. It may be presented on a mobile device, as a printed PDF, or from an Apple or Google wallet — any of the three is accepted.
All prices are expressed in United States dollars, being the customary currency of Egyptian tourism admissions. Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or, for residents of Egypt, by Meeza or direct bank transfer denominated in Egyptian pounds at the prevailing Central Bank rate. Full settlement is required before the credential issues.
The Pass-Holder agrees to present the credential only for personal admission; to comply with the rules of each partner institution; to refrain from transferring, duplicating or reselling the credential; and to conduct themselves within the monuments in accordance with the customs of the institution and the lawful instructions of its staff. Abuse of the credential — including attempts to admit non-pass-holders through a shared QR — voids the pass without refund and may be reported to the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
Mus Passes is not liable for circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: decisions of the Egyptian antiquities authorities; severe weather; archaeological emergencies; state visits; national mourning; public-health directives; or the acts of any third-party transport or hospitality operator. Where a partner site closes on a day the credential is active, we add a credit day or, at our discretion, refund the affected admission as described in the Refund Policy.
The total liability of Mus Passes under any single credential is limited to the amount paid for that credential. We do not accept liability for consequential losses arising from missed visits, onward travel, or personal injury sustained at a partner site — the liability for such injury, where it arises, lies with the operator of the site in accordance with the Egyptian Tourism Law No. 77 of 1976 as subsequently amended.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of the Cairo Economic Court have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under this contract, without prejudice to the Pass-Holder's rights as a consumer under the laws of their own country of habitual residence where such rights cannot be contractually waived.
